Why we like it:

We don’t like this jacket… we love this jacket. It layers under a Norrona winter shell perfectly, from hemline to hood, for complete and cozy protection, and works overtime as a daily driver of a down puffy around town. From nordic skiing cool downs to windy alpine lifts this is an investment piece that’s been with me for several years now and is the mainstay of my winter layering system.

Features and Functions:

Premium aeroDownproof face fabric with a DWR PFC-free treatment for extra water repellency provides lightweight weather protection and soft touch. The jacket is insulated with RDS 2.0-certified 850fp down for superior insulation at a low weight and lofted between medium width baffles for very efficient insulation. The hood is a helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment that fits perfectly under a Norrona shell. When you’re out and about it has hand warming pockets, a chest pocket, one-hand hem adjustment and internal Powerstretch cuffs to keep the wind out.

Fit and Sizing:

A technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good alpine movement this has room for a baselayer and sweater under and layers under a shell. For travel it can easily be compressed into a packable pocket or squashed flat in your bag.
